Office Administrator

The Office Administrator is responsible for providing broad administrative support and serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Information Technology and Operations. This position also handles companywide mail, scanning, printing and faxes; responsible for postage logistics and operations; coordinates with security and serves as point person on facilities maintenance and operations; orders office supplies and handles curbside pick of material and equipment; serves as the on site resource for company wide needs; and responds to internal request for office support.

Job Description

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent preferred

  • 3- 5 years’ experience in a facilites or office environment

 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Strong phone, communication, time management and organizational skills

  • Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office products, email, Intranet and Internet 

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to work independently in fast paced environment

  • Knowledge of facilities management functions

  • Good problem-solving skills

Special Conditions of Employment (licenses, certificates, credentials, etc.):

  • Must have a valid State of Michigan operator’s license to do post office pickup and shipments.
