Junior Systems Administrator

Responsibilities range from general help desk support, systems administration and maintenance and project work. This is a Hybrid position that will be required to go into the Lyon Meadows Michigan office.   

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
     • Coordinates service requests to meet requesting team member or department needs on a 
       proactive basis 
     • Perform break-fix activities for end users for software and hardware issues
     • Setup and deploy Laptops, cell phones, printers, and other hardware to end users
     • Design, analyze, maintain, and implement systems with a cost-effective approach
     • Coordinate system configurations that meet the needs of all team members
     • Monitor system back-ups, storage, and other critical systems on a daily basis 
     • Create, test, maintain, and document procedures for the maintenance or deployment of
       technology 
     • Continually works to identify opportunity for automation of manual tasks 
     • Plan, test, communicate, and execute upgrades of software solutions 
     • Performs system firmware updates, patching, and other duties as assigned 

Education and Experience Requirements:
     • Associates Degree related to Information Systems or equivalent experience preferred
     • Microsoft Certified Professional preferred
     • 3 years general help desk and systems administration support experience is required
     • Microsoft Azure experience preferred
     • Proficient with maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 11/10, Microsoft 365,
       Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune,
       Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019, Microsoft Active Directory, VoIP phone systems, Client
       VPN, Networking, and Backup solutions 
     • Proficient in imaging and deploying user devices (laptop, desktop, cellphone, etc.)
